All green mobility providers in one app, that helps you choose the best route for you.
Green mobility is something that took hover our cities to fight climate change. The rapidly increase of green mobility solutions and providers means that the user now have a lot of options to choose but have to use one app for each provider.
Design an app that would aggregate all the diferente green mobility providers so that the user could choose what vehicle he wants without instaling any additional apps.
The solution was to use an api to call all vehicles from diferent providers and display them on a map for the user to choose. Also generate the best route depending on criterias like ‘fastest’, cheapest’ and ‘safest’.
User-research and api functional specs where the fundations for the UX and UI prototypes.
I translated the user-research that the client already had into a functional UX Prototype. The prototype was designed to contain all user journeys that where previously planned. Using Figma I produced High-Fidelity wireframes, built a design system, and prepared all the components. This way the next part of the process, which was the UI, would be much more efficient and quick to do.
This design system helped speeding up development, in which they could start building the app without the need of the final UI stage.
I used all the previous ux user-journeys to produce a functional prototype with a refined design system based on the brand guidelines. High contrast color combinations, font variations and generous size clickable elements make this app easy to use when searching for a vehicle and also during the route journey.
